JUNIOR CONFIRMATION CLASS
KID - 0-24 MONTHS
(1) – Children under 10 yrs. of age.
(2) – Children 11 to 16 yrs. of age.
(3) – Grand Champion and Reserve Champion.

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP CLASS
KID - 0-24 MONTHS
(1) – Children under 10 yrs. of age.
(2) – Children 11 to 16 yrs. of age.
(3) – Grand Champion and Reserve Champion.
Registration for this class must be done at the same time as the regular goat entries.
NO LATE OR SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS.

COSTUME CLASS
(1) – Children under 10 yrs. of age.
(2) – Children 11 to 99 yrs. of age.

CLASS 29
Grade and Recorded Grade
Sec.
1 – Doe kid, 12 months and under.
2 – Dry yearling, over 12 and under 24 months.
3 – Milking doe, 1-3 yrs.
4 – Milking doe, 4 years and over.

CLASS 30
Purebred Class

Vet check will be done by 3 C.G.S. members on Friday. Exhibitors to abide by the decision of the health committee. C.G.S. shall govern. Base date for calculating age of animal is August 1st. All animals must be legibly tattooed and all animals over 6 months of age must show registration papers. No exceptions. Registration papers and tattoos at random.

 

On entry form please use the letter as well as Class 30. Example: Class 30 A or Class 30 L.
Class 30 N - Nubians.
Class Miniature.
Class 30 A - Alpines.
Class 30 P - All other Purebreds.

 

Sec.
1 – Jr. doe kid, 0-6 months.
2 – Jr. doe kid, 6-12 months.
3 – Dry yearling, 12-24 months.

 

Junior and Reserve Junior Champion
4 – Jr. milker, 1-2 yrs.
5 – Milker, 2-3 years.
6 – Milker, 3-4 years.
7 – Milker, 4-5 years.
8 – 5 yrs. and over.
9 – Best udder, to be chosen from the 1st place winners in the above sections.
10 – Dairy Herd, 4 animals at least 2 in milk.

 

CLASS 31
Meat Goat Class

Sec.
1 – 11 months or less.
2 – 12 - 23 months.
3 – 2 years and over.
